The announcement of Willy Rice’s nomination seems abrupt. Is there thought and prayer given to making a nomination? This would make one ask if Mr. Pressley had prior knowledge of the resignation and are these nominations planned in a advance of the announcement. I guess it would be naive to think there would be a season of prayer involved by anyone considering such a critical nomination I’m grateful for Dr. Litton’s heart and humility in seeking God’s will for his ministry.
