The SBC Executive Committee announced that Willie McLaurin resigned from the interim president position after it was discovered that he had falsified his educational credentials and accomplishments. VP for Communications, Jonathan Howe, has been named the new interim president.

Barber names new ARTIF chair, cooperation chair
SBC President Bart Barber named Josh Wester as the new chairman of the ARITF, and Jared Wellman was announced as the chairman of a to-be-appointed Cooperation Group that will look at cooperation in the SBC as well as the relationship of Article III of the SBC Constitution and Bylaw VIII.
